TIMES OF EXPOSURE

2026 is a year for the courageous. The Lord wants to expose and reveal what has been hidden for so long and give us the steps we need to take to overcome.

EXPOSURE.

That is one of the words the Lord gave me for 2026. I heard Him say that while many things in His church and in the world have been exposed in past years, it doesn't compare to what we are about to see this year.

It sounds harsh, but the Holy Spirit explained to me how exposure is God’s mercy toward us. When something is brought to light by the Lord, it is not for condemnation but for repentance, and if we repent, we find His grace and mercy. His inexhaustible love covers us and transforms us when we see what is within us and ask for forgiveness, surrendering everything to Him.

Furthermore, exposure also speaks of God exposing the plans of darkness this year so that we can reclaim the territory that has been stolen from us in past seasons. Because when the light comes, the darkness flees, and its plans are laid bare.

This year 2026 is a Year for the Courageous

This is a year in which God wants to bring strategy to His people in this way to make the enemy retreat. He wants to expose and reveal what has been hidden for so long and give us the steps we need to take to overcome.

2026 is a year for the courageous. For the courageous who come into God's presence every day. Those who, from that place, hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and are obedient to do what He is calling them to do. Starting with repentance, because if we want to see God's glory give us victory over the enemy, we need to be willing for His glory to shine forth by exposing everything in our hearts first. Thus, being cleansed, with the authority of Jesus' name, the enemy will have to flee and will have nowhere left to return.

God knows what lies in the darkness, the mysteries and strategies we need to conquer, advance, and overcome, and He longs to reveal them to us. But He also knows everything hidden in the darkness of our hearts, and He wants to cleanse and heal it. So, let the light of Jesus shine in and through us! Let us be courageous and face, with the Holy Spirit, whatever He reveals in our lives, making room to receive all that He wants to give us. In this way, His light will shine within us, bringing hope to all nations, and all will see the mercy of the One who has conquered.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60:1-3

He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him! Daniel 2:22

Exposure happening before our eyes

This was written on January 20th 2026, and around that same time, some things that had been kept hidden for years in well-known ministries in the United States came to light.

God's mercy and love are so great that He is cleaning His house. The situation here is that He is the one doing it, and how is the body of Christ reacting to these situations? Sadly, I have read many articles and comments in which people, instead of praying for God's will to be done and for the restoration of all things, sit in the judge's chair and dictate the penance that people should have for their sin. Who is the judge? Only God.

If we want mercy for our sins, we cannot sow judgment. Doesn't the Bible say that if we judge, we will be judged, and that with the measure we use, it will be measured back to us? (Matthew 7:2).

We must keep in mind that in a situation of exposure, we are all tested, not only the person who sinned, but everyone. The person who sinned is called to repentance, and what about the rest of us? Will we do what Jesus would do before this situation? Will we seek heavenly justice? Will we walk in mercy and forgiveness? Or will we continue trying to establish human justice, which is like filthy rags to God and acting out of our own ideas and emotions? (Isaiah 64:6).

It pains me deeply to see the church, who claims to know Jesus, acting in complete opposition to His teachings. Instead of seeking God's will in all these situations, we dedicate ourselves to throw stones, burying with our words the one who has fallen.

With mercy and truth, sin is atoned for (Proverbs 16:6). But both need to be expressed according to God's heart in the true fear of the Lord, not according to what seems right to us. And the thing is that if all this is happening already right at the beginning of the year; I can't imagine what's to come.

Therefore, I invite you to reflect:

  1. If you are in sin and harboring hidden things, confess and repent. This is the time when the Lord is calling us to surrender these things to Him before they go any further.

  2. If you are among those who are reading everything that is happening, examine your heart. Are you viewing things from God's perspective of grace, mercy, and biblical truth? Or are you allowing judgment and the pursuit of human justice to cloud your understanding?

  3. Before you speak, stop and ask the Holy Spirit. Let Him show you the perspective of the Father's heart so that His will may be established on earth as it is in heaven.

Closing Prayer

I pray that the Lord will continue to cleanse His house and that His light will shine in each of our hearts. I pray that we may be humble enough to surrender our own ideas and ways of seeing things and truly seek to understand Heaven so that we can all walk as Jesus walked here on earth.

I pray that God's mercy will be revealed to us as a Church and that the Lord will clothe us with Himself so that we may live His Kingdom and under His government day by day. That Kingdom in which there is love, mercy, restoration, justice, and the truth of the Word in God's way, not distorted by man. May He increasingly transform us into His image, and may the world see that we are His disciples by the way we love one another, just as Jesus expressed it (John 13:35).

With love,

Paloma
